Services to School-aged Children
4. Outreach

Now that we have established quality and appealing materials, and effective programming and services for children who use our library, we need to reach out and draw in those who are less familiar with our library or libraries in general.

Outreach services are designed to reach those underserved children or non-users and at the same time strengthen a library’s connection with the community.

This course will either introduce or serve as a review to basic components of outreach service to the school-aged.
