Costs and Fees

Some lenders charge a fee for ILL transactions.  (Libraries in Idaho may not charge other Idaho libraries for normal ILL service; they may, however, charge for special handling or rush requests.)  If you do not wish to pay a fee to a lending library, check the ILL policies of the potential lenders before you send the request.

The borrowing library is responsible for the postage and insurance on any items that need to be returned.
