If the item is found in the local library

If there was indeed an error in the bibliographic information the patron was looking for, and the library does have the item  in its home collection, the patron should be able to either find the item in the library or be put on a hold list if the item is checked out.  If the patron, with the help of library staff, was able to locate something similar that will satisfy the information need, this too should either be in the library or able to be put on hold.  Either way, this successfully completes the request for information without the need for an ILL transaction.
