Costs and Fees

As was explained above, preparing ILLs for borrowers is costly in staff time.  This expense will have to be considered when reviewing your library’s ILL service.  Libraries in Idaho are encouraged, when serving other Idaho libraries, to absorb the cost of photocopying.

Lending libraries are responsible for the costs of postage and insurance for all items going out to borrowers.
